Informations for Visitors

General information:

• at the time of going to press, the first 600 metres of the underground area has been opened
• regular courses and student excursions as well as other Faculty of Civil Engineering events take place in the renovated section
• all persons entering the underground areas are required to demonstrate their familiarity with the operational regulations an abstract of which can be found here
• temperature in the gallery is + 8 °C, therefore warm clothes are recommended

Information for students and employees of the Faculty of Civil Engineering:

• excursion dates are announced in advance via the KOS system (registration must be completed by the date shown),
• transport to the Josef UEF is provided by the faculty’s own minibuses or by hired bus.
  

Guided tours of the Josef Gallery for the general public:

• • 1. 4.– 30. 6. - Saturdays in even calendar weeks from 10.00 till 13.00.

  • 1. 7.–31. 8. - Thursdays in even calendar weeks from 12.00 till 14.00 and Saturdays in even calendar weeks from 10.00 till 13.00.
  • 1. 9.–30. 9. - Saturdays in even calendar weeks from 10.00 till 13.00.
